THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BUY FOR A MINOR

As Walker County Sheriff’s Office has said several times before— if you’re supplying minors with tobacco products or vape devices, YOU WILL GO TO JAIL!
Thursday, the Walker County Sheriff’s Office assisted the State Bureau of Investigation in an operation across Walker County. During the operation, two store clerks in the county sold vaping devices to minors.
Both of those store clerks have been arrested. One of the store clerks arrested tonight was arrested just a few weeks ago during the last operation! That clerk was also charged with Resisting Arrest, in addition to the Selling an Alternative Electronic Nicotine Device (Vape) to a Minor.
A total of 17 stores in Walker County were visited, and only 2 of those stores sold to minors. That’s still two stores too many.
We will continue these operations until local school principals, pastors, and parents stop calling the Walker County Sheriff’s Office complaining about this epidemic.
