SKYDIVING ACCIDENT AT CULLMAN AIRPORT

This afternoon, around 3:30 pm, the Cullman 911 dispatch center received call of a skydiver stuck in a tree near the Cullman airport. Vinemont Providence Fire Dept, Cullman EMS, along with Cullman County Sheriff’s Office assisted in getting the stuck skydiver down from the tree. There were no injuries reported.
Vinemont Providence Fire Dept stated in a Facebook post, “We wanted to reach out with a special thank you for Colburn’s Tree Service for an amazing job today rescuing a skydiver. These guys are top-notch and true servants to the community whenever there is ever a need. Thank you!!”
