Please join us in praying for sweet Kenyon and his family as they face another difficult chapter in his recovery.

Kenyon is currently in the ICU being treated for a urinary tract infection and critically low albumin, a protein in the blood that helps keep fluid where it belongs and plays an important role in healing and overall health.

After meeting with multiple specialists, including gastroenterology, neurology, and nutrition, doctors have ruled out his kidneys as the source of the protein loss. They are now focusing on his gastrointestinal tract, where they believe ongoing inflammation or the need for a more easily absorbed formula may be contributing to the problem.

Doctors are treating the infection, carefully restarting his feeds, working to reduce the severe swelling caused by excess fluid, and continuing to search for the cause of the protein loss. Despite everything, Kenyon was able to participate in a little physical therapy, a small but encouraging step forward.
