Cullman Varsity Boys’ and Girls’ Tennis Teams Win!

The Cullman Varsity Boys’ and Girls’ Tennis Teams defeated section opponent Mortimer Jordan tonight. Cullman Girls won 9-0 and Cullman Boys won 6-3. Both boys’ and girls’ teams improved to 3-0 in section play.The girls’ team swept both singles and doubles with Katia Peterson, Caroline Hill, Olivia Dover, Karina Harris, Allie Krigbaum, and Maddie Files all earning singles victories. Peterson & Hill won #1 doubles, Dover & Harris won #2 doubles, Krigbaum and Files won # 3 doubles, and Avery Orr & Addie Townson won #4 doubles.The boys’ team won at each doubles spot with Eli Chaney & Bennett Cabri winning #1 doubles, Jake Murphree & Nason Green winning #2 doubles, and Cooper McCoy & Brody McCluskey winning #3 doubles. Jake Murphree, Bennett Cabri, and Nason Green recorded singles wins for the Bearcats.
