Champ Crocker, Candidate for District Attorney releases statement on Kyle Rittenhouse Verdict

The Kyle Rittenhouse verdict was just and correct. This case shows why we need honest prosecutors, impartial judges, and capable defense attorneys.
I have spoken and taught classes all over Alabama for 4 years about the Stand-Your-Ground law, at Bama Carry meetings, community watch groups, senior centers and others. This case clearly met the standard for self-defense.
As your District Attorney, I will seek justice – and the decision to charge, or not charge an individual will always be based on the law, not politics.
