LOCAL TEENS LEARN LIFE SKILLS IN THE WOODS

This past weekend, the Cullman, AL Chapter held an overnight campout. Mentor Jacob Hathcock taught the boys some very useful survival skills.
They learned how to build a fire, read a compass, build shelter, and how to determine distance. The boys were taking it all in and were some fast learners. Program Director Brian Burchett lead a great devotional and the boys learned “Why the Gospel is Important”.
To end the program Brian took to boys to his deer processing business. He showed the boys how to skin and quarter deer, which will come in real handy at their upcoming deer hunt.
