Cullman, Ala. — Cullman Regional welcomes board-certified Internal Medicine Physician Hans Noffsinger, MD, to the Cullman Regional Medical Group. Dr. Noffsinger completed his medical degree at the University Of Kentucky College Of Medicine and completed his post-doctoral training at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. A native of Lexington,
Kentucky, he has provided care for patients in various hospitals and clinics throughout the southeast for more than 20 years, including six years in private practice in Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Noffsinger has most recently practiced in Kentucky for the past 10 years while caring for aging parents.
As an Internal Medicine physician, Dr. Noffsinger provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for chronic illnesses as well as health promotion and disease prevention. Internists are not limited to one type of medical problem or organ system and are equipped to deal with whatever problem a patient brings no matter how common or rare, or how simple or complex. They are specially trained to solve puzzling diagnostic problems and handle severe chronic illnesses and situations where several different illnesses may strike at the same time. Internists serve as primary care providers specializing in the overall diagnosis and treatment of both acute and chronic illnesses of adults and geriatric patients.

Dr. Noffsinger is excited to move back to Alabama to enjoy the outdoors, close proximity to the coast, and because he enjoys the people. Dr. Noffsinger and his wife have 8 dogs and 2 cats. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing, bicycling and collecting model trains.
