20/59 Interstate in Birmingham to open soon

For those who travel east and west on 20/59 in Birmingham will be able to breathe a sigh of relief. The Reconstruction of the bridges between the BJCC and downtown Birmingham will soon be complete.

ALDOT (Alabama Department of Transportation) has stated that the bridges on Interstate 20/59 between Interstate 65 and Red Mountain Expressway will open on or before January 21st.

A ceremony dedicating the bridges will be held January 17th at 2 p.m.
